Speculative Genealogy #3: Simonus of Lorenzburg 1540 – 1613

Posted on 14 November, 2016Author Frei

My ancestor Prince Simonus of Lorenzburg was born in 1540 and died of a stray bullet at a hunt in 1613. Simonus was very athletic and enjoyed jousting. His motto was “And best of all: God is with us” and he was a devout Lutheran. He married the five years younger Princess Merit Margareta of Lorbeering.
